What are you thankful for?

What are you thankful for?

  1. We should always be thankful for everything we have in our lives. The hard part is to always appreciate those things and not just be thankful for them during hard times. We sometimes get distracted, but we should take time to remember.

  3. I found it rather intriguing to see the various responses that each person had. It shows how truly different we are. I was reading in the paper this morning about how Weber County does a sub for santa type thing. A police officer is assigned to a specific child that the Salvation Army chooses, then they are given a gift card to Wal-Mart. The article talks about how excited the children were to ride in the poice cars, and yell into the microphone, not an everyday privilege, anyways, the article goes on to say that a girl was given $100 to use for anything she wanted. She told the police officer that she was grateful for her family, and all that they did for her. So she bought 3 shirts for herself, then spent the rest of her money on finding things for her family, so that they could have an enjoyable christmas. Sounds to me that this girl has her head on straight and understands the importance of family and what it means to be truly greatful for the things that really matter in life.

  4. I love this! All the mormon messages give me chills. I love how he mentions we should be thankful in ALL things. Even the trials. I can think of things now that I need to thank God for before I go to bed tonight that could have been so much worse. He watches over us and even when things go bad, He iss there and He is the reason we made it through. Thanks, Jared, you lifted me up.
